This is part of series of pieces based on Grafitti bombs by various anonymous artists. Austin explains,

"This is a portrait of a signature. In grafitti terms, a writer's 'bomb' becomes his/her signature which in affect is their identity. By interpreting the flat impermanent graffiti into a 3 dimensional stone sculpture, i am creating a permanent portrait of the artist's identity".

This piece is based on the work of the graffiti writer known as 'The RAEK'.
