A breathtaking show that broke box office records at Sydney Opera House, Lost and Found Orchestra features dance, music, comedy and aerial performance. One of London’s most eagerly anticipated shows this Christmas - see how cacophony turns to symphony in this irresistible theatrical event.
'Exhilarating and strangely beautiful, unpretentious, infectious and great fun' (Guardian).

THE TIMES Tuesday, 3 July 2007 - 'times 2' supplement, page 13
"In a setting of spacious lawns and rare vegetation it’s hard to tell masters and nonmasters apart. Visitors get a varied welcome at the garden’s entrance from Peter Randall-Page’s rough granite Flayed Stone II, Barry Flanagan’s Carving No 1 in smooth travertine and Blumenfeld’s own fluttering, petal-like Il Vento, carved from translucent white statuary marble.
Directly opposite stands Gyzengals 41219, a genie-like “Blobbist” figure in Portland stone by the former architectural stone-carver Austin Emery..."
"My 'Gyzengals' are Blobbist forms that represent both the individuality and the natural connectedness of all things 'ert' and inert. Gyzengals come big and small, short and tall. No two are the same and although they need no name, this one is '41219'."

Austin enjoyed one of the most thrilling experiences of his life, singing in the choir with the Lost & Found Orchestra at Royal Festival Hall in London, with the last show playing Sunday 11 January, 2009. He looks forward to the next opportunity to perform in this energetic and innovative expression of music, rhythm, dance and song!
Lyon & Turnbull's spring Contemporary Art Sale in April, 2009 featured Austin's 'Dipsy Doodle' on their invitation card. With the detail shot on the front and the complete piece shown on the back, the sale generated considerable interest in this sculpture. Negotiations are being made now regarding the final sale of this piece.
Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship gave me the Opportunity of a Lifetime...
Austin had his first SOLO SHOW! The exhibition was a great success, with works being sold as well as great feedback from visitors over the course of the eight day long show.
Austin showed sculpture and painting from past to current works which reflect his passion for creating work
spontaneously and without preconception. The range of works shown will include an interesting array of materials such as
stone, marble, metal, bone, resin, cellophane and paintings on canvas.
'EXPRESSTANEOUSMOMENTERIALISM'
